Welcome to our home. Sure, we haven’t lived there in over three years, but who says you have to live in it to call it your abode, right?
We bought this dream home of ours in West Palm Beach in September of 2005. From first glance, you can see why it was
love at first sight! I wish I had a pic of the chocolate master bathroom that wooed me to the contract w/ pen in hand like a cartoon character floating on the ebb of scent. For our first home, Mark and I wanted to create a haven for friends and family. However, we had to be creative in the execution of this desire…mortgage payments have a way of making the greatest of intentions into real penny pinchers. We had to take it one step at a time. Upon advancing the vista of documents, shaking hands, and waving a fond farewell to the previous owners, our liberating journey to creating this said haven began with instillation of the wood floors upstairs, then the purchase of some comfy couches–enough to seat a few extra butts in our living room…the more the merrier, yes. We then were GIVEN our dining room table, which had been sitting outside on a patio, exposed to the 2004 and 2005 hurricanes…but it was a pedestal table and we just had to muster the gumption to restore it…a good sander and a few coats of black paint did the job just perfectly! Well, from there, we soon found out we were moving to Ohio, and orders to cease and desist permeated our high hopes of living in West Palm Beach until the ripe old age of 30 something. So, here it stands, our home.
Enjoy the tour.

Yea…I live in New Smyrna Beach…I’ve lived here since March..and um, gone to the beach twice…once in a bathing suit, once to just let the wind go through my hair and the water on my jeans:)
I lived in Deltona…excuse me(clears throat) ” dead-tona” and became bored out of my mind….so I moved closer to work and college.

isn’t it crazy how few times we actually choose to go? I think it’s too high maintenance…especially when I can go to the pool, walk home, take a shower and not find sand a week later in undisclosed locations!
